Sessions are fifty minutes to an hour. Helen offers flexible appointment times. Week day appointments are available as well as evenings and Saturdays.
Location
Helen Maxfield Counselling is conveniently located in Palmerston Road, opposite Hornsby Hospital. Car parking is available at the rear of the premises, and the location is accessible via public transport.
Medicare Rebate
If you are suffering from depression, stress, anxiety or have other emotional or mental issues you may be eligible for Medicare funded focussed psychological strategies. If you speak with your doctor, and he/she agrees, they can provide you a referral to see Helen. This entitles you to see Helen for an initial block of sessions, usually six, with Medicare rebate. With additonal referral a further block of sessions can be made available.
Fee for privately paying clients
If you prefer to attend as a private paying client the fee is $140 per hour, payable at the time of consultation.
